Where is World Athletics Cross Country Championships 2023 being conducted?
In December 2020, World Cross Country Championships were postponed from 2021 to 2022 due to the Pandemic and Australian travel restrictions. And the event was once again postponed to 2023 in September 2021, due to Australian travel restrictions. Now the 44th 2022 World Athletics Cross Country Championships will take place on February 18th, 2023 in Bathurst, Australia.

Mount Panorama is an international racing track venue, selected for World Athletics Cross Country 2023. It attracts racing from across the globe.
How many countries and athletes will be participating?
The event will be welcoming more than 550 elite athletes from more than 60 countries around the Globe. The World Athletics Cross Country Championship Bathurst 2023 will be hosting Men’s U20 (8km) and Women’s U20 (6km) races, the universal mixed relay (8km) and the senior individual Men’s and Women’s races (10km).
