Just in time when I lost my Baseball, which I often used to massage my Piriformis, Hamstring, IT Band, etc. after my long runs, I found Acumobility Ball. So, what is special about this ball? I just made a video on the practicality of this ball in the life of a runner. I have used the ball and all the points are covered in the video. However, regarding the price point, durability and functionality of the ball, please read this article.
Video on Acumobility Ball:
- Price Point of Acumobility Ball
I truly believe in buying quality products for personal use, business use, and gifts. Sometimes these products are expensive and often times I score a sale deal. Whenever it comes down to buying something that I need, I never compromise on quality. Although a new Baseball could have worked a similar way if not the same, I wanted to have a proper massage ball. The Acumobility Ball cost me $31.95 CAD. It may be a little expensive for some but there are two things that justify this cost:
- The flat bottom: The design is so sleek and sticks to the surfaces and really functional when in use. If the bottom was round, it would have been just like any other massage ball.
- The softness of the top surface: When the massage balls are too hard they cause unbearable pain. This ball has top soft enough to be able to massage the tissue for prolonged periods.
2. Flat bottom of Acumobility Ball
As I mentioned earlier, the flat bottom is the selling point of this massage ball. It makes up for the cost and you will not lose this ball in your gym bag, in the gym, at home, or anywhere because it cannot roll.
I would give this ball a 5 out of 5 for price point and functionality.
